Girls of all ages across the world may need braces at one time in the life.  Usually a teenage girl can get a consultation and find out if she needs braces early.  In many cases it is great to treat a patient when she is very young, while the jaw is rather soft to help correct bite issues, crowding, or spacing.

However in some cases an orthodontist may want to wait until the girl has reached her late teens in order to make sure any growth will not affect the teeth once the orthodontic treatment is stopped.
