How Long After X-RAYS Until I Get Braces On

If you have gone into an orthodontist and had x-rays, than it is most likely that you will get your braces on shortly.  However the orthodontist needs to apply spacers in your teeth to make room for the anchors for when the braces go on.  In some cases, patients don’t need the spacers, but you can usually count on it.  The spacers are on for an average of 2 weeks and than your braces go on.

On average it will be 2 to 3 weeks after your x-rays for you to get your braces on.  A full consultation including the pricing, payments, and treatment time will be delivered beforehand.
