How to Remove Braces in Photoshop

If you just had a wedding, birthday, or big event and want to remove your braces digitally than Photoshop is the answer for you.  In Photoshop you can remove each bracket from each tooth and rebuild the tooth color.  You can even go as far as to whiten the teeth.  The procedure is rather advanced and complex, but in time you can get them just right.  You should try not to copy the teeth from another person, but actually work on removing the braces from your own teeth as it will look much more natural.

The following steps are for removing braces from each tooth using Photoshop techniques:

1.    Magnify the area of the mouth as big as you can within your work space.
2.    Grab the whitest color you can find below or above the bracket as you will use this color to fill in the bracket.
3.    Add some grain to the new layer and its color.
4.    Add some blur to the layer
5.    Touch up the tooth while magnified.

Although this technique needs to be played with and modified to each picture, it will get the braces off the tooth and look pretty good.
