    Question about rubberbands

My orthodontist told me that I only take my rubberbands off for eating and brushing. He said that after eating, i need to brush and then put 'em on, but do i just use my brush to take the food out of my teeth or do i have to go through the whole brushing-with-toothepaste ordeal to "clean" my teeth every time i eat a meal?

Yes, you should brush your teeth after every meal, unless you'd like cavities underneath your brackets when you get your braces off.

First of all,Hard foods and sticky foods must be avoided as they can break or damage wires and brackets. Also avoid eating sugary foods because they cause tooth decay. Nail biting, pencil and pen chewing and chewing on foreign objects should be avoided as well.

As per rubber bands, Make sure to change them after you eat. Rubber bands need to be worn all the time to work effectively. When you remove the rubber bands, your bone cells stop working to make your teeth fit together. Missed wearing time makes your treatment take longer! Remove them only for brushing and replace them right away.
    Gud Luck..
