Hi, new here for the second time.

I joined this group a few weeks ago but then got banned for some reason. I have no idea why. I am not terribly technologically savvy so maybe I did something wrong by mistake. Anyway I'm back and ready to read more of this site as I prepare for my Invisalign.

Your IP address is the same as one used by spammers. That's why your previous ID was banned. There were 10 IDs created that day from the same location.

I don't know how or why that happened. I use my iPad at home and at work. Not being a computer wiz I just can't figure that out. Oh well, I'm back and hope all goes well.

Soprano Kris, I was just reading your Invisalign process. Were you surprised to get almost as many refinements as your original set of trays? Is that terribly discouraging or do you just get used to it? Are you still wearing Invisalign?

I'm now in retainers (which I only wear at night now...YAY!)

At first, I was a bit discouraged because it was much longer than I'd thought I'd be wearing the trays. My teeth were fairly straight at the end of initial treatment. Refinements were smaller "tweaks". The main reason my refinement was longer was because we were correcting my crossbite. I had to wear elastics in refinements to get my bite lined up, plus I had an extrusion of my left canine that needed to be completed. In fact, that canine was the most stubborn of all my teeth to move.

Your ortho can plan what he/she wants to do, but it's up to Mother Nature for your teeth to comply with their plans :D
