    Sorry for delay..... only check the site about once a month. Anand is still practicing but with conditions and he's not allowed to take new patients on. The GDC are currently collating case information on him. I haven't wasted any time in trying to find out if he is still practicing under the name 'Q Clinic'. I suspect he's able to find a loop hole anywhere!

    I got a refund from Hitachi. Basically I phoned my bank and requested a chargeback - I got all my payments back, 2 days later Hitachi phoned me up and told me I was in debt. I explained what happened with Q and they tried to tell me that they were still completing orders and that if I wanted a refund I should of requested it through them. I them explained that one of the ladies at Q told me there was little chance of getting a refund, he wanted proof so I got an email with proof sent it over and they wrote off the debt. The worst scenario is that I would of got my money back but would have been left with a bad credit score.

  6. After paying up front for my treatment, Q Clinic constantly delayed it providing excuse after excuse for the delay during numerous appointments and consultations. After waiting for over one year for my treatment to start I have now been informed they are no longer providing this service which has greatly annoyed and frustrated me beyond measures.

    At first I was told that the product was in the process of being shipped across from the US which was causing the huge delay in my treatment starting. I was then told that they are no longer providing the service Invislign which I had already paid in full for.

    When I demanded a refund due to them being in breach of contract and the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982, I was told they do not provide any refunds and that I had to contact my card company in order to do so. This is completely out of order and unfair to the consumer. It is a huge inconvenience and completely unacceptable.

    I'm in the process of building quite a big case against Anand. I'm sure you're aware that he's a crook. I've already spoken my local MP who is working on my behalf to take action against him. I have another meeting with him on Friday 21st March to discuss progress and show him more evidence I've uncovered. If I have more people come with me, I can present a stronger case and get things escalated quicker as GDC are very slow.

    Be persistent as the GDC are pretty slow to react but if enough people complain then we might get them to react faster.

    Just a heads up, Tapesh Anand and Tapeshwar Anand are the same person. He uses the different names to bypass company house records, so they have no previous history of his dodgy financial records. It's the reason why he has been able to get away with this for so long. Divya Vallabh is clinic manager and also Anands wife, don't trust her. Also anyone trying to get in direct contact with the clinic, the new address is 61 Harley Street. 020 7636 2111. Rarely do they answer the phone though.

    Anybody who know a solicitor who specialises in business registration should get in touch. There are a lot legal issues that Anand haw wormed his way around and with right help we could all get our money back, watch Anand get stripped of his dental licence and he and his wife could also face prison time. I'm sure all of you who have had the misfortune of dealing with this crook would like nothing more. Please get in touch as the more people who come with me on Friday 21st, the stronger I can present a case for everyone and get all of our money back while getting the scumbag and his business shut down.

    Oh and here is the last bit of info I found out. We’re all aware that his businesses are all front to fund a much more lavish life. He recently bought a Chalet in the South of France called Chalet One Oak, the cost to rent this property for just one week is $24,000 per week! How can somebody who has 7 previously failed businesses still afford to buy a multi million pound property in France?

    Unbelievably, I've been to my local orthodontist and three weeks after my initial consultation my first invisilign trays have been delivered and are ready to be fitted. I can't believe I wasted two years and 2500 with these scammers!!!

    Tapesh or whatever his name is is going to get what's coming to him.

It's also clear that Anand and his wife both monitor this site and the Facebook group and they recently had one of my comments removed, while at the same time they updated their contacts details on their Facebook page for q clinic. I got letter back from my MP this week with some real encouraging news (not so good for Anand!). However, I won't post it up on here as it's an ongoing investigation and I don't want Anand finding out. We know he likes to surprise people, hopefully he'll enjoy the surprise letter and knock on his door he should get in due course.

  11. My girlfriend is a victim of Anand and I paid for her treatment (or lack thereof).

    I've reported him to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040. I urge anyone who's been a victim of Anand to do the same. Please quote the Crime Reference Number: NFRC140300580916. This is the reference number I was given and was encouraged to share it. If other people mention this reference number when reporting him, it makes it easier for the police to collate all of the reports against him and it's more likely that they'll take action. Even if you've already reported him to Action Fraud, call them again and quote this reference number alongside yours. They should then be able to put those reports together.

  14. I recently received a response from my bank stating that they accept the dispute I raised and will credit my account with the full sum I paid to Q Clinic. This is great news for me and my girlfriend, as we now have the money for her to complete her Invisalign treatment with someone else. I urge anyone who made payments to Anand and Q Clinic with their credit card, who then did not receive their full treatment, to raise a dispute and chargeback claim. My payment was made in November 2011 so don't think that there's a time limit on raising a dispute.

    To be clear, this is not a criminal prosecution case. This is a fitness to practise hearing which, naturally, involves a legal team. I'm sure we all hope that the outcome will be that Anand is struck off and never able to practise again. If anyone has been a victim of Anand's fraudulent practise and has not registered a formal complaint with the GDC, I urge you to do so. You can submit your complaint on the GDC website here. Remember: the more complaints, the stronger the case.

    I have been made aware that a criminal investigation is also taking place but I don't know as to the scope of this or how far it will progress. Again, the more complaints there are, the more seriously the police will take Anand's crimes. If you've been defrauded by Anand, report him to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 and quote the Crime Reference Number: NFRC140300580916.

It looks like Anand and his wife have, at least in the past, kept a close eye on this website and others that contain complaints against Q Clinic. The GDC and the police are still building their cases. Don't post too much detail that could give them any advantage in getting away with what they've done.

  20. back in 2012/13, I posted on this forum about my awful experience and what I had done to get my money back, not from the QClinic, but through the bank visa chargeback process. As a result I setup an email address stop.tapesh.anand@gmail.com to try and help other victims and to see if, collectively, we could do something to stop him him. As we all know now, the GDC did impose restrictions on Anand and the QClinic was wound up, but now operating as Infinity Health London.

    I am posting again because, despite the GDC restrictions imposed on Anand, he still seems up to his old tricks and there are people still out there who have not had treatment, some as long as 12 months after paying for it. There is some advice on this forum about what people can do and I am writing here again to URGE EVERYBODY ON THIS FORUM who has not already done so to write again to the GDC outlining the details of your complaint against Anand. I have tried to submit a complaint to the GDC on behalf of all the other people affected who have contacted me, but I was told I cannot raise the complain as the third party.

    Please also contact Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 with as much information as possible about your complaint. It is not necessary to quote the same crime reference number as others as Action Fraud will collate all information received that specifies similar parameters e.g. QClinic, Anand, Tapesh and will ensure that the police receive as much information as possible about this fraudster.

    I also want to stress that for those people who have been told by their bank that they are not protected under the visa chargeback process and cannot have their money refunded by the bank, to go back to their bank and argue your case. Basically I paid the Qclinic in around July 2012, so my transaction occurred almost a year after that. When I first read up on this online it mentioned that you have up to 120 days from the date of transaction to make a claim, so I thought this process wouldn't work for me. I called the bank and they said they couldn't help. Thankfully I read some more and found that it's actually 120 days from when you first become aware of a problem, the transaction date should be no more than 540 days ago, and you need to prove that you would be expected to be still be under contract. Apparently not all normal banking staff are aware of this but the chargeback dispute people are.

    Basically, because you are still expecting to receive treatment under contract, you may be able to follow the same process to get your money back. I appreciate this doesn't help as far as your treatment goes, but perhaps the return of your money may help soften the blow somewhat and enable you to seek treatment elsewhere.

    I also suggest you also write to Melinda Jackson at the MacDonald Partnership insolvency company, although as Anand has already had his initial court hearing to wind up the QClinic company, i'm not sure what they can do? In any case you could let her know about your situation and see if she can offer you any further advice.

  21. Hii, I've also had a terrible experience at Q clinic. I handed in a deposit of 900 in January 2013. I had not booked my first appointment. i literally had been completely sidetracked by life. Nevertheless I decided this year I wanted a refund on my deposit after I had read several bad reviews online. I could not get through to anyone the phone would literally ring out day in day out. This is the very reason why I lost interest in booking an appointment in the first place, what serious dentist is that hard to get hold of? Anyway this Divya character told me from July until now that she was in the 'process of accessing the records' and that the system has been down (you can't access patient records for over three months? Ok). This is was all very strange to be honest. I requested my refund only to be told quite bluntly that I have no chance of getting my money back but I could continue my treatment with them. They no longer offer invisalign but they could give me fixed braces and practically tried everything to keep me not leaving them. I don't know what to do because I handed the 900 in cash to Natwest into their bank account as Amelia gave me their bank details. i don't have the receipt I've misplaced it (which I'm so annoyed at myself for). I think it's ridiculous that I can't get my deposit back any normal establishment would refund it. I haven't even had a first appointment. I've joined this forum as a last resort I've never been conned out of money and honestly don't know what I can do. Has anyone got their refund back without a chargeback? And if not do we seek legal advice and take this matter to court?

    Professional Conduct Committee hearing

    I am the GDC lawyer with conduct of the case concerning Mr Anand.

    As you will be aware, the GDC’s Professional Conduct Committee (the Committee) is due to consider allegations concerning Mr Anand at a hearing on 4 – 21 November 2014 and you have confirmed that you are willing to attend the hearing as a witness.

    Please can I take this opportunity to thank for your assistance with this matter to date, including the time that you have already spent in providing a witness statement and other information to the GDC.

    Your attendance at the hearing

    Thank you again for also agreeing to attend the hearing to give evidence. I am sorry that we have not yet been able to confirm the specific dates that you need to attend.

    As you may be aware, sometimes we are able to agree the contents of a witness statement with the registrant (and their legal representative where relevant), so that the witness statement can be read out at the hearing in place of that witness’s attendance.

    In this case, the Committee will consider a number of allegations concerning Mr Anand. We are currently in the process of seeking confirmation from Mr Anand as to whether he will make admissions in respect of any of the allegations or facts to be considered.

    If Mr Anand makes admissions to some of the allegations, or otherwise agrees parts of the evidence to go before the Committee, it may be possible that your evidence can be agreed and your witness statement can be read to the Committee in your absence. In this case you will not need to give evidence in person; though you may still be asked to be available by telephone should the Committee have any questions for you.

    If your evidence is not agreed then you will be asked to attend the hearing to give evidence to the Committee.

    While the preference is that witnesses attend the hearing in person, in some instances it can also be agreed that a witness provides evidence by telephone or by Skype instead, for example when a witness would have difficulties in attending in person. Therefore, while it is prudent to presume that you will be asked to attend the hearing, we do not yet know how much of your time this will involve.

    We will continue to press the issue of required witness attendance in this case with the other case parties, to seek confirmation of whether you are required to attend as soon as possible. We hope to update you regarding this early next week, if not before. We hope to be able confirm the day when you will be required to attend, and to also specify whether that will be the morning or afternoon of that day.

    However, it would be prudent to proceed on the basis that you will be required to attend at some stage during this hearing to give evidence, most likely in the first or second week, and I thank you for your co-operation and patience in relation to this.

    I never did get my money back due a number of factors including personal circumstances at the time, somethings eventually timed out. But I have always kept every record because I believed someday his incompetence would come to light.

    I felt justified when I was contacted 6 months ago by the GDC legal team who has me on record as one of the earlier complaints to the GDC about Mr.Anand.

    I also felt a little sad that he'd obviously moved from grossly incompetent to grossly fraudalent judging by the amount of accusations here.

    Wow it's been almost two years and the thread is still alive, very sorry to hear that many of you didn't get the money back...

    I'm going to give evidence tomorrow, though I agree that it would tip off Anand if we share too much information publicly!

  29. The gdc are useless. In November there were about 35 allegations against him, but after doing further research that hit over 100. Instead of suspending him or erasing him, they decided to spend a further 4 months doing more investigations. During which time he can continuing practising and ripping off more people. At least 30 people gave evidence and nothing has been done which says it all. Get in touch directly, I'll fill you in you inbox me via this forum
