What Color Braces will Make My Teeth Look White

For tweens and teens, using color braces can make the whole braces treatment experience much more exciting and fun. After all, a teenager may be expected to wear braces for about a year or two years, and so, it’s important that they like the way their braces look.

Typically, dark colors contrast with the paler surface of the teeth, making the teeth look brighter. The overwhelming favorite to make teeth look brighter, is black. However, black braces may give your braces the appearance of being bigger than they are. Also, black braces may not be for all. Try dark blue or maroon braces that can contrast with your teeth, making the teeth look whiter. 

Avoid bright yellow braces if you have slightly yellowed teeth. This can actually make your teeth seem even more yellow and dirty. If yellowness is a big problem, you must also avoid clear braces that can contrast with the color of the teeth, making your teeth duller. Clear braces may also get stained if your diet also includes lots of acidic or spicy foods.
Red also makes teeth brighter and white. Bright blue suits all teeth. It’s hard to go wrong with blue braces, which tend to look good on all.

Also remember that eating some kind of foods can actually discolor your braces. For instance, hot and spicy food may cause the color of your braces to fade.
